My internship with Gannett

As an intern with Gannett, I worked remotely at their Westchester, NY headquarters. I spent three-months working under an amazing team of editors and journalists whom all attributed to my growth as a writer. At The Journal News/ Lohud, I gained my own sources and was able to write for other publications within the company including The Times Herald Record.

Throughout the internship, I remotely did interviews with business owners, government officials, and event coordinators. While developing personal resources, I covered community news in the Middletown and Westchester area. My reporting ranged from covering business to lifestyle pieces.
