The Journey She Wrote

The journalist, blogger, and reporter! I am the one who can capture the moment with my words and through my writing. I was raised in the heart of Harlem, NY, where I was surrounded by endless cultures. My environment was always fast-paced which encouraged me to think quickly and simply take in all that encompassed me. 

 

The journey in my writing career began when I was 11-yrs-old. I would write for fun, create short stories on Wattpad, or capture moments on the train. In my free time, I would sit in Central Park and write observation pieces. These writing sessions lead me to my love for journalism and telling the stories of others. While pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Journalism at Hampton University, I had the opportunity to learn scriptwriting, magazine writing, feature writing, and producing digital marketing materials.
